1996 Disney GOLDEN GLOW HERCULES Mattel Action Figure Hero Barbie Ken Doll NRFB
This is a retired Golden Glow Hercules doll from Disney’s “Hercules” video movie and animated TV series. He is a fully articulated, approximately 12 inch tall (approximately the size of Barbie’s boyfriend Ken) hero character doll / action figure, and is jointed at the shoulders, elbows, knees, and head, so he is very poseable and a true action hero. The Prince / Hero dolls are often harder to find than the Princess dolls are, even when they are first released. Herc was made by Mattel for Disney in 1996, and comes with armor that changes color in the sunlight. However, due to the age of this doll, I cannot guarantee that the color change feature will continue to work or that it will be in working order when it is received. He has never been removed from the box (NRFB), but the box has some damage, so if you are a box collector, please ask about the box condition. Some of the fasteners that hold it to the box have deteriorated due to age, but the doll and costume appear to be undamaged, and he is not loose in the box. He would be an excellent model to customize for your own one-of-a-kind (OOAK) custom repaint or craft creations, or a wonderful addition to a Disney doll diorama display, and would also be a unique birthday or wedding cake topper.
