They feature full hair re-roots using the same quality and colors of hair used by Hasbro to make the original Jem dolls. All four dolls have their original Disney character eyes, I’ve just painted makeup on Jem and Kimber. Jem: Made from a Cinderella doll, wearing a Fashionista Barbie dress, two pink cuff bracelets, and shoes reminiscent to Rockin’ Romance. She also includes a microphone and 5-petal flower earrings which were the closest thing I had to Jem Star earrings. Her hair is layered thick, perfect for teasing and styling into a big’do. Shana: Made from a Tiana doll, wearing second-hand Barbie clothing that’s in nice condition, and tall silver boots. Her necklace is painted on her body, as that is how the Tiana doll was made. Her hair is straight and shiny and ready to be curled. I know there are plenty of online tutorials instructing how to properly curl doll’s hair. Aja: Made from a Mulan doll, wearing a handmade blouse inspired by the Hasbro doll’s fashion. She also has an adorable pop star Barbie dress, silver stockings, silver butterfly necklace, and purple booties. Her hair is layered and thick and ready to be teased up. Made from a Cinderella doll, wearing a hand-painted faux snakeskin jacket, a striped crop top, polkadot capri pants, white fishnet socks, and hot pink strappy heels.
